Chris Brockmann speaks at the Big-Data.AI Summit

Save the Date: April 10-11, 2019 | Station Berlin, Luckenwalder Str. 4-6, 10963 Berlin, Germany | https://big-data.ai/

This year’s Bitkom conference Big-Data.AI Summit is committed to critically answer the question of how the hype of artificial intelligence will find its way from fiction to business. Over the course of two days, participants will have the chance to discuss its future in more than 130 sessions on six stages. The topics range from the general aspects of digital transformation to industrialization, ethics and society.

In his talk, Hans-Christian Brockmann, CEO and founder of eccenca, will highlight the immanent big data problem: Quite often big data projects are discussed and implemented around the aspects of data velocity and data volume, missing out the third V which stands for data variety. This leads to big data projects failing or falling back on complex, inflexible and expensive transformation processes which hinder both volume and velocity. In his talk Chris not only proposes that overcoming this problem needs a knowledge graph driven business digital twin. Using the framework of digital maturity as outlined by leading analyst house Gartner, he also argues that without knowledge graphs there won’t be digital transformation and artificial intelligence worth talking about. Because knowledge graphs form no less than the foundation to move IT from data silos to a value-driven digital ecosystem.

Meet Hans-Christian Brockmann: April 10, 2019, 4:10 pm, John McCarthy Stage
